Description Deliver HV primary substation detail designs (132 kV - 500 kV) in compliance with Australian standards. Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs) and substation layouts. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency. Provide technical expertise in both AIS and GIS systems. Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Ensure all deliverables meet quality and safety standards. Support project planning and provide input on technical aspects during the proposal stage. Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team. Profile A successful Lead Primary Engineer should have: Proficiency in HV primary substation design, including AIS and GIS systems. Strong knowledge of Australian standards relevant to the Energy sector. Experience developing layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and other design documentation. Excellent coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams. Effective communication skills for client engagement and relationship management.
