We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fresh Stock-Take & Administration Officer to support daily inventory operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. About the Role Due to the short shelf life of fresh produce, the buying team maintains minimal stock levels to ensure customers receive the freshest and highest-quality products. Daily stock-taking is a critical part of the operation, as the buying team relies on accurate stock data to determine purchasing requirements for the following day and maintain optimal product freshness. This role involves a combination of administrative duties and time spent on the warehouse floor, working closely with both the warehouse team and the fresh buying team. Rostered Days & Hours Monday: 09:00 – 17:45 Tuesday: 09:00 – 17:45 Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:45 Thursday: 09:00 – 17:45 Friday: 09:00 – 17:45 (Full stock-take required) Availability to work overtime during peak periods may be required. Some flexibility with start and finish times may be needed during busy periods. Pay Rate Commencement Rate: $33.13 per hour After Training Completion: $35.20 per hour The successful candidate will begin at $33.13 per hour during the initial training period. Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of competency in stock-taking processes and system usage, the rate will increase to $35.20 per hour. Key Responsibilities Complete daily stock-takes by counting fresh produce in active pick and reserve warehouse locations Enter stock-take results into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Prepare and email stock-take reports to relevant teams Use RF scanners to complete stock-taking tasks Modify and update stock records in WMS Adjust stock records in the IBS system Work alongside the Fresh Buying Team when required Manage the disposal of quarantined or damaged stock Assist with Quality Assurance processes On Thursdays, assist with assembly duties, cleaning, and inventory-related tasks when picking operations delay stock-taking Report directly to Fresh Supervisors Required Skills Strong communication skills Confident and competent with computers, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility during peak operational periods Reliable and dependable Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Previous warehouse experience RF scanner experience Understanding of HACCP and food safety compliance If you are a reliable and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we encourage you to apply.
