Client Details Our client is a well-established organisation in the engineering industry, known for their innovative HVAC & Data Centre solutions. With a strong presence in the market, they provide cutting-edge products and services to their clients. Description Identify and develop new business opportunities within the data centres sector across East Coast Australia. Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre owners & contractors. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, lunch & learns etc. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Profile A successful Data Centres BDM should have: Proven experience in a business development or sales role in the Data Centre industry, targeting both owners and contractors. Strong knowledge of the Data Centres sector and its unique requirements. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. A results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving targets. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Effective time management and organisational skills. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
