Support better patient outcomes through collaboration and insights. Join Queensland Health's Better Hospital Flows program, working with hospitals, health services, facilities, and wards across the state. As a Project Officer, you'll help deliver statewide insights that support clinicians and health services to plan, coordinate, and improve care for patients across Queensland. About the role: As an AO5 Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating the delivery of specialised and/or small work packages within the Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) space. You will ensure that solutions are customer-focused, sustainable, and aligned with the broader enterprise environment. Further responsibilities will include: Monitoring resources and expenditure to ensure alignment with agreed work package budgets and project forecasts. Actively supporting risk and issue management by identifying, assessing, documenting, and escalating risks and issues as required, while also contributing to the development of mitigation strategies. Maintaining program and project files in compliance with Queensland Health regulations and policies. Assist in preparing project management reports and undertake general administrative tasks to support the successful delivery of projects. Applying appropriate project management methodologies, techniques, and tools in line with Queensland Health policies and standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be a critical aspect of your role, as you facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and foster collaboration through lessons learned and feedback mechanisms.
