Mutual trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do. The Role Our successful Planning and Environment team is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel in Brisbane. The team represents predominately developer and large land-owning clients and also act on behalf of some long-term Council clients and benefit from a strong pipeline of work. The role involves working closely with a leading Partner on a wide range of planning and environment law matters across Queensland including: Planning law advice, appeals and applications; Environmental law and regulatory advice and litigation; Enforcement advice and litigation – including prosecutions; and Preparation, review and drafting infrastructure agreements and planning schemes. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a reputable planning and environment practice in Queensland. Candidates with an existing client base will be highly regarded, though not essential. The successful applicant will be an integral member of a high performing team and offer strong leadership qualities as a senior practitioner. You will possess persuasive written communication and advocacy skills.
