This is a Psychologist - Mental Health/AOD role with St John of God Health Care based in Sydney, NSW, AU St John of God Health Care Role Seniority - mid level More about the Psychologist - Mental Health/AOD role at St John of God Health Care Your role at St John of God Burwood We are seeking applications for Psychologists (Grade 2) to join our Allied Health team on a permanent full-time and casual basis. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative programs that provide high-level clinical care to consumers in groups, and an individual basis across a variety of acute and psychiatric specialties. The Position Provides advanced level Psychology services including a range of individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required. Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring consumer progress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management. Liaise with multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring Doctor. Familiar and complies with legal, ethical responsibilities to consumers, visitors and staff, inclusive of maintaining confidentiality. You will have experience providing group programs and individual therapy to child, adolescent and adult consumers presenting with a myriad of concerns, demonstrate clinical leadership skills and ability to undertake quality improvement activities. Successful applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology and current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Experience running groups and providing individual therapy using DBT and Schema-Focused Therapy will be highly regarded.
