We’re a Civil construction company based in Melbourne, delivering projects across government and commercial sectors. We’re looking for an HR Advisor to support our team both on-site and in the office Full time. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with managers and site teams across the full employee lifecycle , including recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support. You’ll maintain HR records and systems, provide advice on workplace matters, and assist with performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee relations. You’ll also be responsible for interpreting and applying employment legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements, particularly within a construction environment, and supporting HR processes across active project sites. Skills Required Solid understanding of Australian employment law, awards, and enterprise agreements Experience managing employee relations matters (performance, discipline, grievances) Ability to provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and site teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience maintaining HR systems and personnel records Qualifications Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or other (required) Membership or working towards membership with Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) (desirable) Experience 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role Experience in construction, civil, or a similar industry (highly regarded)
