The role supports compliance with Australia Post operational procedures while managing retail staff, inventory, and day-to-day operational activities within the Licensed Post Office and associated retail business. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily retail and Australia Post counter operations Manage customer service delivery and resolve escalated customer enquiries Oversee cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and daily financial reconciliation Monitor stock levels, place supplier orders, and manage inventory control Ensure compliance with Australia Post operational procedures and service standards Train and supervise retail staff in customer service and operational procedures Assist with staff rostering and operational planning Skills and Competencies Manage and resolve escalated customer enquiries and complaints Handle and oversee cash management, EFTPOS transactions, and daily reconciliations Monitor stock levels and manage inventory control processes Place supplier orders and maintain stock availability Train and supervise retail staff in customer service and operational procedures Assist with staff rostering and shift coordination Implement and monitor workplace health & safety (WHS) and security procedures Support café and takeaway operations where required Retail supervision and staff management Customer service and conflict resolution Cash handling and financial reconciliation Inventory management and stock control Understanding of compliance-based retail environments Communication and organizational skills Relevant Qualifications Minimum qualification Certificate II or III in Business Management and at least 1 year of relevant work experience
