About The Role As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries daily tasks in our clients’ homes. There are morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts available. Benefits No experience needed! Tasks of the Role: Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required. Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene. Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management. Basic wound care and self-medication. Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry. Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities About You: You are an excellent listener who can communicate authentically and honestly and are able to work independently. Can work a fixed fortnightly roster. A current driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle. A smartphone device Ability to obtain a Blue and NDIS screening card.
