The Opportunity This is a newly created leadership position, formed as part of a strategic restructure. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, you will lead the financial performance management for a diverse portfolio including Residential Aged Care, Community Aged Care, and Retirement Living. This role is designed for a strategic lead who moves beyond traditional accounting to provide high-level commercial insights and evidence-based recommendations to Executive stakeholders. Your Impact Team Leadership: Manage and develop a small team of Accountants, fostering technical capability and accuracy. Strategic Advisory: Partner with Executive and senior leaders to provide financial strategy, scenario modelling, and cost-benefit analysis for strategic choices. Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and iterative forecasting processes, ensuring all data is risk-adjusted and aligned with divisional strategy. Performance Reporting: Produce monthly performance reporting, including KPIs, trend analysis, and variance insights for executive and program governance. Commercial Support: Support business cases for service expansions, new programs, and tenders. Process Improvement: Lead enhancements to budgeting and modelling tools; champion the effective use of Power BI to streamline financial insights. About You Experience: Extensive experience in FP&A or Management Accounting within medium-to-large organisations. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor finance staff to support team growth. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI is preferred. You must possess advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Communication: Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
