Landscape Architect or Designer Orterra is a growing landscape architecture practice based in Brisbane , working across a diverse mix of projects throughout South East Queensland and across Australia. We are seeking a Landscape Architect or Designer , who are looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and design-focused studio. This is an opportunity to join a practice where you will be involved across the full project lifecycle; from concept design through to delivery, while continuing to develop your capability and professional impact. About Orterra Established in 2019, Orterra is a boutique landscape architecture studio focused on creating landscapes that connect people, nature and community. The studio works across a broad range of sectors, including education, commercial and mixed-use developments, infrastructure and streetscapes, and residential and masterplanned communities. This diversity provides the opportunity to work across varying project scales, typologies and design challenges. The Opportunity We are open to shaping this role based on experience, with opportunities at both Landscape Architect and Senior Landscape Architect level. You will be involved in: Contributing to projects from concept through to construction delivery Preparing and coordinating documentation across all stages Working closely with clients, architects and consultants Managing projects independently (at a senior level), or developing toward this capability Supporting and mentoring junior team members (or being mentored, depending on experience) Contributing to design thinking and broader studio discussions This role offers a clear pathway for progression, whether you are stepping into a more senior role or continuing to build toward it. What We’re Looking For We are seeking landscape architect who: 3 years’ experience in landscape architect or design Are confident working across both design and documentation Can contribute to, or lead, projects through multiple stages Have strong communication and collaboration skills Take ownership of their work and are motivated to grow Location & Flexibility Brisbane or Gold Coast, happy to also consider Sunshine Coast Flexible working arrangements, including work from home Interested?
