Due to our growing pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, we are looking for a Civil Draftsperson with 2 years’ experience to join our National Civil & Structural team, based in our Flagship Brisbane office . Working with the local civil team in Brisbane as well as the other 150 Staff in our multi-dis Brisbane office, you will support and collaborate on a range of projects with other Practice Areas. Including (but not limited to) Geotechnics, Transport Advisory, Planning and Approvals, Hydrology & Hydrogeology and Environmental Specialist Services, providing sustainable solutions for our national and international projects. Responsibilities One of the highlights of this role is the opportunity to work across a diverse range of challenging projects. You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of project documentation, contribute to design outcomes, and play an integral role in the successful delivery of projects across multiple sectors. Duties will include: Undertaking a range of technical drafting tasks, across a variety of projects. Including earthworks, roadworks and drainage, civil structures, water and wastewater infrastructure. Applying sound judgement and attention to detail to produce accurate, high-quality documentation. Challenging the norm with the objective of continuous improvement. Experience Outside of wanting to join a positive and friendly team, the right candidate should have: 2 years’ drafting experience in civil projects with strong AutoCAD capability . The ability to work independently on small and large projects. Demonstrated ability to set up drawings and details at project commencement, anticipating requirements and progressing documentation with direction. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality drawings. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships. Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills. Motivation for continuous improvement and professional development.
