Client and You: Join a highly specialised engineering and manufacturing business producing high-spec engineered products for demanding applications, where quality, compliance, and attention to detail are critical. This is an office-based Quality Engineer (QC) role with regular access to the shop floor, suited to someone from a structured manufacturing environment who understands how to build, maintain, and improve quality systems. It’s a hands-on position for an Engineer who can read CAD drawings, interpret technical documentation, and maintain high-quality standards. Experience in automotive, advanced manufacturing, composites, or other regulated technical environments would be highly regarded. The Job: Review QC inspection results across incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages. Develop and improve inspection plans, quality procedures, and control processes. Support internal and external audits, with solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality compliance systems. Maintain quality documentation, policies, procedures, and system controls. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective and preventative actions. Read and interpret CAD drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical documents. Support compliance across engineering, procurement, and production. Drive continuous improvement across quality, systems, and operational processes. About You: Degree-qualified Engineer with 5 years’ experience in Quality Control / Quality Engineering within manufacturing. Able to read CAD drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audits, NCRs, CAPAs, and document control. Organised, process-driven, and confident working across suppliers, production, and internal teams. Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, with composites experience a bonus. What’s in it for you: $110 to $120,000 base Super.
