Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Neurodiversity-Affirming) Summary We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outreach-only (or outreach and telehealth) position. You will work within school environments during term time to support student participation and regulation. Responsibilities Assessments: Complete functional and sensory assessments, prioritizing the unique strengths and needs of each student. Intervention: Design and deliver plans to support participation, regulation, and skill development in school contexts. Collaboration: Work alongside educators and families to facilitate student inclusion and environmental access. Consultation: Provide training to school staff regarding sensory processing, environmental adaptations, and affirming approaches. Documentation: Ensure all clinical documentation meets organizational and regulatory standards. Growth: Actively engage in supervision and team-based learning to ensure continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Education: Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy. Registration: Current registration with AHPRA . Experience: Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience (outreach experience preferred). Values: Deep understanding of and commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice. Logistics: Current driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel for outreach. Compliance: Valid Police Check, Working With Children Check (WWCC), and safeguarding compliance.
