PACE appointments is currently assisting one of our valued clients with an urgent requirement for a qualified Boiler Attendant / Engine Driver to join their Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator seeking stable shift work in an industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor boilers, refrigeration systems, compressors, and associated plant Ensure safe operation in accordance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and manufacturer guidelines Conduct routine inspections, checks, and log readings Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions Perform start-ups, shutdowns, isolations, and plant changeovers Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation Report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects in a timely manner Essential Requirements Current HRWL – Advanced Boiler Operation (ABO) – mandatory Proven experience operating industrial boilers and refrigeration systems Sound knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatment Excellent safety, communication and work ethic history Ability to work a rotational roster What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rates (relevant to experience) Ongoing work with the potential for long-term opportunities Work within a safety-focused and well-established operation �� Immediate start available for the right candidate If you meet the above requirements and are available for an urgent opportunity, apply now or contact Jane on to discuss this role further.
