Description ADI has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Leader focused on the growth and enhancing the scalability of our APAC business and we are looking to speak to candidates based in either Australia or New Zealand. You’ll operate as both a hands-on contributor and a strategic leader—supporting customers directly, enabling the Field Sales team, and building a high-performing, scalable Inside Sales function. Working in close alignment with Field Sales, you’ll strengthen inside sales execution, take ownership of key processes, and bring greater operational discipline to the team. JOB DUTIES Sales Execution Manage and grow assigned customer accounts through inside-sales engagement Support Area Sales Managers by progressing opportunities and following up leads Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and analysis Apply qualification, objection handling, value-based selling and closing disciplines Maintain accurate CRM records using Salesforce Lead People & Build Capability Lead and coach Inside Sales team members where applicable Support onboarding, training and succession planning Foster a high-engagement, inclusive team culture Drive Commercial Performance Own revenue, margin and KPI outcomes Drive pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy Partner with Marketing, Category and Supplier teams Ensure pricing governance and deal quality Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement Create and maintain documented sales processes and SOPs Ensure CRM integrity and reporting accuracy Drive efficiency through standardisation and automation Customer Experience & Operational Excellence Deliver a best-in-class customer experience Act as escalation point for complex issues Balance hands-on selling with leadership responsibilities YOU MUST HAVE Proven sales/customer service experience in a similar position, ideally from B2B product distribution background (ideally smart building, AV, or lighting solutions) A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices Proven professional experience in generating & closing sales opportunities An ability to influence across internal teams Strong inter-personal skills Strong experience in decision making, determined and result driven mindset, ability to quickly resolve issues WE VALUE: Experience managing and leading a team Positive “Can Do” attitude with the ability to self-motivate and motivate others Ability to maintain and build sales profit and margin via an existing customer base Ability to support and drive marketing initiatives, seek new opportunities to build sales and profit, and develop new custom.
