The Role Please note: this role can be based in either South Yarra, Prahran, Port Melbourne, Hampton or Flemington You’ll be responsible for managing the full leasing lifecycle for brand new Build ‑ to ‑ Rent properties. Build‑to‑Rent offers a renter‑only service model, allowing a focus on exclusively building strong, positive relationships with residents. With five new locations across Melbourne launching in 2026, you ’ ll be allocated to a dedicated site ( meaning no day travel) while occasionally supporting other leasing consultants at different sites as needed. As the initial face of Horizon Housing Realty, you’ll guide prospective residents from property advertising and enquiries through viewings, applications, and approvals. Working closely with the onsite Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in leasing up the development, thoughtfully curating a cohort of residents to foster a strong, sustainable community while meeting leasing targets. This role requires availability to work Saturdays when required, with a weekday provided as a day off. We offer flexible working hours and will work with you to determine a schedule that supports a range of viewing times to cater for all potential residents. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualities and experience: Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable. You’ll be the first point of contact for HHR and play a key role in presenting our properties in their best light, creating an exciting and welcoming experience for prospective residents. Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’ll confidently guide applicants through the full leasing journey, from enquiry and viewing through to application and approval. A proactive mindset with a genuine drive to meet and exceed leasing targets, contributing to team success while being supported by a broader, collaborative team. A current Victorian Certificate of Registration, with prior experience in residential leasing and a solid understanding of Victorian residential tenancy legislation. A strong work ethic, resilience, and a willingness to learn. You’ll be comfortable following established leasing processes and procedures while adapting in a fast ‑ paced environment. Flexibility with working hours. We’ll work with you to set a schedule that supports property viewings while maintaining a healthy work ‑ life balance. Professional presentation and the ability to prepare clear, well ‑ written correspondence for both internal and external stakeholders. A current driver’s licence.
