We’re partnering with a well-established national business to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to support a large operational workforce. This is a hands-on role with scope, autonomy, and strong exposure to leaders across branches, sales, and the wider business. Working as part of a respected HR team, you’ll provide practical support across the employee lifecycle while helping the function continue to evolve. About the Role Reporting to the National HR Manager, you’ll partner closely with managers and leaders across the business, providing advice and support on a broad range of people matters. This role suits someone confident in operational HR who enjoys building trusted relationships and handling sensitive issues with a calm, pragmatic approach. Key Responsibilities Provide generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle Partner with managers on day-to-day people matters Manage ER cases including investigations, grievances, performance management, and terminations Coach leaders through people issues and workplace challenges Support recruitment activity from advertising through to onboarding Maintain HR policies, contracts, and documentation Assist with Award interpretation and employment legislation compliance Support HRIS and payroll processes, with a focus on improving system capability About You We’re looking for someone approachable, practical, and confident in a fast-paced operational environment. You’ll bring: Relevant HR qualifications Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior generalist role Strong ER/IR capability, including investigations and terminations Confidence coaching managers through people matters Experience supporting blue-collar or operational workforces A pragmatic, commercially aware approach Ability to build trust and rapport at all levels Exposure to Awards and multi-site environments HRIS experience, ideally with an interest in process improvement This role offers the opportunity to join a down-to-earth business where HR is valued, with scope to grow over time.
