Location Information The health service is around a 45-minute drive (37 km) south from Cairns, which is also where the nearest airport is located. This is a small aboriginal community with a population of just over 3000 people. This is a great opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The town has one small supermarket run by local people, two hot food take-away shops, a local bakery and a drive-in pub, as well as a service station.
