We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Fleet Controller to join our team based in Regency Park, SA . This is a key operational role responsible for overseeing daily transport activities and ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective fleet operations. Working closely with drivers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you will play a critical role in keeping our transport network running smoothly. Working hours Rotating shifts: 6:30am – 3:00pm and 8:30am – 5:00pm What you’ll do Oversee daily fleet operations and allocate transport tasks efficiently Assign work to company drivers, subcontractors, and external carriers to maximise productivity and cost-effectiveness Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with COR and fatigue management requirements Conduct regular toolbox talks with drivers Monitor pickups and deliveries to meet customer timeframes Provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders on delivery status Use fleet systems to track performance and support scanning targets Plan labour and fleet resources in line with daily volumes and budget Coordinate vehicle maintenance and ensure fleet presentation standards are met Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations where applicable Support operational reporting, revenue recovery, and service outcomes What you’ll bring Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet control role Strong knowledge of transport systems and operations Solid understanding of road legislation, COR, and fatigue management Good geographical knowledge of Australia and metro networks Strong communication and problem-solving skills Computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office Valid driver’s licence required What we offer Competitive salary above industry standards Ongoing training, development, and career progression opportunities Employee perks and discounts Inclusive parental leave policy Recognition programs to celebrate your success If you are a proactive and safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
