Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking two experienced Facilities Managers to support a newly awarded, high-profile contract within a large-scale, fast-paced transport hub environment. These are newly created roles, offering the opportunity to shape service delivery from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operational delivery of facilities services within a designated terminal, ensuring all maintenance, compliance, and asset performance outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams, you will drive service excellence, minimise disruption in a 24/7 environment, and contribute to a seamless passenger experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and thrives in dynamic, high-traffic environments where safety, responsiveness, and collaboration are key. Key Responsibilities Manage all preventative and corrective maintenance activities within your assigned terminal Coordinate daily work orders, trade teams, and subcontractors to ensure efficient service delivery Provide technical leadership, quality assurance, and support for fault diagnosis and asset performance Participate in an on-call roster and lead responses to operational incidents and emergencies Oversee Contractor First Response and ensure timely triage and issue resolution Maintain accurate work order management within CMMS systems, ensuring no backlog at month-end Ensure full compliance with WHS, statutory requirements, and site-specific operational standards Engage with stakeholders to coordinate works and minimise disruption to operations Monitor KPIs, service levels, and performance metrics, contributing to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives Education, Experience & Skills Essential: Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or building services Proven experience in facilities management or technical services within complex, high-volume environments Strong knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance practices and asset management principles Experience using CMMS platforms (e.g. Maximo, Manhattan) Solid understanding of WHS, compliance, and safe systems of work Demonstrated ability to lead trade teams and subcontractors effectively Experience working in 24/7 or on-call environments Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability under pressure Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders Desirable: Experience in aviation, transport, healthcare, or large infrastructure environments ASIC clearance (or ability to obtain) Exposure to highly regulated or security-sensitive environments Workplace Flexibility This role is based fully on-site in Mascot to support the operational requirements of a critical environment.
