Sales Operations Manager Sydney | Hybrid working options We're working with a growing technology services business looking to hire a Sales Operations Manager to support and scale their commercial function. This role sits at the centre of the business, working closely with Sales and Operations, managing procurement tasks and ensuring deals are supported efficiently from initial quote through to delivery. It's a hands-on position where you'll be managing a small team while also getting involved in the detail - ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, supporting sales, and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): You'll take ownership of the sales support and procurement function, leading a small team responsible for coordinating quotes, proposals, and order processing while ensuring a high level of accuracy and responsiveness to both internal stakeholders and clients. On a day-to-day basis, you'll work closely with the sales team to support deal execution, helping to ensure quotes and proposals are turned around quickly and aligned to client requirements. You'll also manage relationships with vendors and distributors, overseeing procurement activities including pricing, availability, order placement, and renewals. Alongside the day-to-day, there is a strong focus on improving how things are done. You'll be identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and introducing better ways of working across sales support and procurement to improve turnaround times and overall delivery. This will involve working cross-functionally with teams across the business to ensure everything runs smoothly from sale through to fulfilment. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate data across systems, monitoring performance, and ensuring consistency in how processes are followed, while supporting and developing your team to deliver a high standard of work.
