Sydney Asset Management Permanent Our client is a well-regarded institutional financial services firm based in Sydney, seeking a Senior FICC Middle Office Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a broad operations and compliance-focused role , supporting fixed income and money market activity, client onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, settlements, and operational enhancements. As a core member of the team, you’ll gain direct exposure to senior leadership and high-value institutional clients across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities Act as the firm’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer , ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations Manage KYC onboarding workflows and Salesforce data management Liaise with partner banks, custodians, and ADIs to ensure accurate trade settlement Oversee Austraclear settlements , reconciliations, and documentation control Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives across middle office operations Ideal Candidate Profile 5 years’ experience in FICC , Fixed Income , or Money Market middle office or onboarding roles Strong understanding of institutional onboarding frameworks, AML/CTF/KYC regulations Familiarity with Austraclear , custodians, and bond settlements Experience with systems such as ALERT , CTM , Salesforce , and ideally OMGEO/DTCC Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and counterparties Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Law (preferred) This is a fantastic opportunity for a FICC Middle Office Analyst to work as part of a leading Fixed Income markets intermediary in a lovely CBD-CQ location.
