Sydney Investment Banking We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to appoint a Payroll Officer in their Sydney office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional with 2–3 years’ experience looking to join a high-performing finance and HR team within a sophisticated financial services environment. You will play a key role in managing end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 550 employees across multiple entities, with support from the Head of Payroll and broader HR/Payroll Controls functions. Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly end-to-end payroll process and off-cycle pay runs Maintain and update the payroll database and employee records Process termination calculations , timesheets, and leave management (WorkDay and iChris) Handle end-of-month reporting , superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax remittance Respond to payroll queries from the shared inbox within 48 hours Partner with Payroll Controllers, HRBPs, and Business Units to resolve pay-related matters Support year-end reconciliations and audit processes About You 2–3 years’ experience in payroll processing (end-to-end) Experience using iChris is essential Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) and Microsoft Office Strong knowledge of current legislation including PAYG, Super, LSL, STP, BFI Award Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines Positive, professional communicator with a proactive and collaborative mindset Why Apply?
