About the role Dianella Total Health Care, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our well-established medical practice located in Dianella, Western Australia. What you'll be doing ï· Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatments ï· Administering vaccinations, injections, and other medical treatments ï· Conducting health assessments, screening tests, and monitoring patient vital signs ï· Providing patient education and promoting preventive healthcare ï· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation ï· Coordinating patient referrals and liaising with other healthcare providers ï· Ensuring the clinic's equipment and supplies are well-stocked and maintained ï· Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment including instrument autoclave. ï· Assisting in procedure minor surgical including skin cancer removals. What were looking for ï· Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) ï· Current CPR certification must be held at time of application ï· Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar clinical setting ï· Strong understanding of general medical and surgical nursing practices ï· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the medical team ï· Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology ï· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required ï· Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills through professional development What we offer At Dianella Total Health Care, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that values our employees' well-being.
