Dianella Total Health Care is a Medical Centre and allied health clinic and has been caring for the local Dianella community. We have a team of male and female doctors and a wide range of services including Physiotherapy, podiatry, pathology to provide a holistic approach to the patients. Available position: Medical Receptionist Casual/ Part time position available Responsibilities of this role include the following: ï· Managing day-to-day receptionist. ï· Handle all face-to-face and over the phone patient registrations, bookings, triage and queries as the first point of contact within the clinic. ï· Scheduling and confirming appointments ï· Maintaining patient records ï· Manage and process billings ï· Answering patient and doctors’ queries. ï· Liaising with healthcare providers. ï· Managing clinical documentation. ï· Drafting emails; and scanning ï· Receive payments, issue receipts, complete all billing and invoicing for patients. ï· Chasing companies for outstanding invoices. ï· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment ï· Ability to work as part of a team ï· Previous experience with medical software is highly regarded ï· Available to support the practice between 8 am to 5 pm. ï· in addition to providing helpful customer service to our patients, our support team work closely with General Practitioners and Allied Health practitioners to provide comprehensive administrative support. Essential and Desirable skills: ï· Experience as a medical receptionist ï· Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written English language skills ï· Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. ï· An ability to carefully plan, organize and prioritize tasks. ï· Flexible to change shift hours.
