Role Overview: GE Aerospace Systems Australia conducts repairs on civil and military aviation components for the APAC region. This role is a vital member of the team, providing essential operational leadership to ensure the smooth, efficient and compliant running of the business. The Supply Chain Execution Lead is responsible for the execution and coordination of supply chain activities across the business, ensuring effective material flow, accurate inventory, and robust supplier and logistics performance. The role focuses on higher-level data analysis, import/export and trade compliance, continuous improvement and contract development, working closely with the Sourcing & Planning Manager to translate sourcing and planning strategies into executable supply chain and logistics actions. Responsible for the following processes · Supply chain and logistics execution and coordination across the business · Supplier relationship support, including performance data collection, analysis and reporting · Contract development, administration and negotiations with key suppliers and logistics partners, within delegated authority · Logistics partner relationships, including contract management, administration, cost monitoring and negotiations · Ensuring compliance with customs, trade compliance and ITAR requirements in all supply chain activities · Leading the annual stocktake process, working with the logistics team to plan, execute and reconcile stocktakes · Supporting planning and forecasting for spares and materials, including management of key data and planning files · Leading and participating in continuous improvement and lean initiatives to optimise supply chain performance Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Sourcing & Planning Manager, this position is responsible for the effective execution of supply chain processes, including building and maintaining supplier relationships, contributing to performance reviews, and developing, managing and negotiating contracts within delegated authority. The role has a strong focus on logistics partner relationships, supplier contract development and management, cost visibility, and import/export and trade compliance across the business. The Supply Chain Execution Lead is responsible for leading the annual stocktake, working in partnership with the logistics team to plan, execute and reconcile stocktakes, and providing final analysis and recommendations. The position supports planning and forecasting for spares and materials to ensure effective, efficient and uninterrupted aviation repair operations. This role leads and initiates continuous improvement activities, including but not limited to process mapping, problem solving and kaizen events, to optimise supply chain, logistics and inventory performance. The scope of the role covers all sites across the region, including Brisbane (QLD), Richmond and Newcastle (NSW), and Singapore. This position supports the delivery and continual improvement of key operational metrics, including: 1. On Time Delivery (OTD) 2. Yield 3. Quality escapes 4. Inventory levels 5. Stocktake requirements and accuracy 6. Work in progress (WIP) 7. Supplier performance 8. Safety performance 9. Import/export reviews Required Qualifications: Extensive experience in contract development, management, negotiation and cost escalation in a supply chain or logistics environment Clear understanding of AS9120, import/export and ITAR requirements, and their practical application in day-to-day operations Proven experience leading stocktake processes and inventory planning, including analysis and reconciliation Experience conducting supplier performance reviews, building supplier relationships and participating in commercial discussions Knowledge of aviation regulations, standards and requirements, with the ability to apply and support them in daily operations Advanced Excel skills, with proven ability to manage demanding analysis and reporting using large datasets Experience with high-priority global supply chains and logistics distribution processes Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning or a related field Strong customer and supplier liaison skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels Proven ability to work with diverse teams and contribute to coaching, mentoring and facilitating change Experience integrating input from multiple stakeholders into processes, reports and decisions Experience applying lean principles and participating in continuous improvement projects Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance, if required Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones, including local and overseas stakeholders (US and UK) Working knowledge of aircraft regulations, standards and quality frameworks, including AS9120 Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of internal and external organisations Experience with Safety Management Systems, including demonstrated ability to contribute to required documentation and processes Ability to manage multiple tasks and support multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, building collaborative relationships across functions and sites Formal lean qualifications and/or strong practical experience applying lean principles in continuous improvement activities At GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
