About the Role: Our client is looking for a skilled Aircraft Fabricator/Welder to join a high-performing advanced manufacturing team in Adelaide. You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling precision sheet metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and strict quality standards within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and is keen to develop skills in advanced fabrication and aerospace manufacturing technologies. Job Title: Aircraft Fabricator/Welder Location: Adelaide, SA Salary: Competitive salary package (commensurate with experience) Work Type: On-site | Workshop/Production Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components from engineering drawings Operate fabrication tools and equipment (shears, rollers, riveters, forming tools) Perform drilling, deburring, trimming, and precision finishing work Work with aluminium, stainless steel, and other alloys Assist with MIG/TIG welding and structural assembly Operate or learn advanced machinery (press brakes, waterjet, lathes) Interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications Support continuous improvement and identify process efficiencies Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams Maintain high safety and quality standards at all times Qualification: Trade qualification in fabrication or welding Experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding in the aerospace/aviation industry Experience working on aircraft structures, jigs, tooling, or other high-precision fabricated components.
