Weâre seeking a confident, relationshipâfocused Civil Engineer who can represent our Adelaide Civil team with professionalism, coordinate stakeholders effectively, and deliver highâquality outcomes across land development and urban infrastructure projects. In this midâcareer role, youâll support and grow our civil capability while taking a central role in client engagement, authority liaison, earlyâphase project discussions, and mentoring junior engineers. This is an opportunity to step into meaningful project leadership and be a key face of our team in the Adelaide market. Key Responsibilities: Deliver civil engineering design, modelling and technical documentation for land development, subdivisions, external works and urban infrastructure projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, service authorities, developers and industry partners, acting as a primary point of contact. Lead and participate in client meetings, technical discussions, stakeholder workshops and earlyâphase project scoping activities. Provide dayâtoâday guidance, coaching and design oversight for junior engineers to support their development and uplift team capability. Coordinate project inputs across multidisciplinary teams including planning, environmental, structures and building services. Support bids, proposals, design methodology development and fee estimation. Assist in managing project deliverables, risks, quality processes and timelines. Proactively represent the business with professionalism and contribute to continuous improvement in delivery and communication. Skills & Experience Required: Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in civil engineering with exposure to land development, building civil, site servicing or urban infrastructure. Demonstrated experience in client and stakeholder engagement, including councils and service authorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to lead discussions and represent the business externally. Proficiency in civil design software (12d, Civil 3D or equivalent). Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical packages. Solid understanding of SA land development processes, authority requirements and approval pathways. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality. Australian PR or Citizenship (preferred for certain client sectors). Why Join Us?
