About the Opportunity An established organisation operating within a blue‑collar, mining environment is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to provide on-site, hands-on people support. The Role Reporting into a centralised HR function, the HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering operational HR support and applying people frameworks in a site-based environment. The role has a strong advisory focus with accountability for execution at local level. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with leaders on employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances and workplace issues Supporting case management processes and preparing HR documentation Providing practical, day-to-day coaching to leaders on people management Coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities for site-based roles Supporting onboarding, workforce changes and offboarding Maintaining accurate workforce records and reporting Assisting with the implementation of HR policies and people initiatives at site Identifying workforce risks or emerging trends and escalating as required About You You are a commercially minded, solutions-focused HR professional who is comfortable operating in an operational, blue-collar environment. You will bring: Proven experience in an operational HR or HR business partnering role Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice Experience supporting leaders with employee relations and case management Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Professional judgement, discretion and a practical approach Ability to manage competing priorities in a site-based role Current driver’s licence Experience in industrial or operational work environments will be well regarded.
