Based in Maitland, this agile and highly experienced team delivers end-to-end services—from investigation through to design and project management—across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll work closely with leadership while enjoying genuine autonomy, owning projects and fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design and implementation Develop technical designs, reports, and documentation aligned with project requirements Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies Identify risks, raise concerns, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering team capability What You Bring Civil Engineering degree or similar discipline. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status ideal. Circa 10 years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure within Australia Expertise in areas such as pump stations, pipelines, treatment facilities, and water systems Demonstrated leadership experience and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required At Verve Partners, we take a human-centred approach to recruitment.
