NHP are seeking a dynamic, supportive and commercially savvy Sales Manager to lead our dual-channel growth strategy across Electrical Contractors and Switchboard Builders in QLD . This is a Brisbane-based leadership opportunity where you’ll combine strong sales execution with coaching and people leadership—taking a team of 7 on the journey and building the ecosystem required to win in a competitive market. With major construction activity ramping up across the region, you’ll play a pivotal role in pursuing greenfield business development, strengthening our commercial switchboard presence, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders and key supply partners to unlock sustainable growth. Reporting to the State Manager – Sales QLD/NT, you will provide effective leadership and management to a high-performing sales team, ensuring budgeted revenue and margin targets are achieved across both the Contractors and Switchboard Builder channels. You will work with other business leaders to ensure our QLD growth strategies are leading edge—providing a framework and guidance on the creation and implementation of customer and segment plans, and lifting NHP’s commercial switchboard footprint through targeted opportunity pursuit. In line with our Sales Game Plan, you’ll establish a clear operating rhythm and sales discipline across pipeline management, customer planning, forecasting and execution. Responsibilities include: Lead, coach and develop a team of 7 across Southeast QLD—building capability, engagement and a performance culture Own dual-channel growth plans for Electrical Contractors and Switchboard Builders, including segmentation, opportunity qualification, pipeline development and sales execution Pursue greenfield business development—identify, qualify and convert new opportunities and accounts Build NHP’s commercial switchboard presence by engaging switchboard builders, consultants, project stakeholders and internal product teams Build and maintain a strong ecosystem (partners, specifiers, contractors, builders and internal stakeholders) to strengthen influence and outcomes Drive Sales Game Plan discipline: structured sales cadence, CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and regular pipeline/opportunity reviews Collaborate with branch, product and marketing teams to execute initiatives and deliver a seamless customer experience and sustainable growth Ideally you will have / be: Proven sales leadership experience within electrical, construction, industrial or adjacent technical sectors Demonstrated ability to grow revenue through contractor networks and/or switchboard builder channels (or a strong appetite to learn and build capability quickly) A track record of greenfield business development—hunting, qualifying and converting new opportunities Strong commercial acumen (pricing, margin, negotiation) with the ability to balance short-term wins and long-term growth A people-first leader who coaches, develops and brings teams along the journey—clear expectations, regular rhythm and genuine support Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence across customers, partners and internal teams Strong organisation and time management, with a disciplined sales operating rhythm across pipeline, forecasting and follow-through To be considered for this role, you will bring a combination of strong sales capability and proven leadership experience, with the energy to pursue new business and the discipline to build sustainable, repeatable growth.
