You’ll own the trade channel in QLD outright, managing your own call cycle and being accountable for your results. Your manager is practical and hands-on; trusting you to do your job without micromanagement. You’ll also work alongside the specification and builders sales team, following up on projects being serviced through your merchants and hardware network. It’s a collaborative setup that gives you additional sales without losing your independence. You’ll be well-equipped with a CRM, marketing and branding support, and a peer group across the country in similar roles. Your responsibilities Develop and grow relationships with hardware stores, plumbing merchants and contractors across Brisbane and surrounds, building a loyal base that generates consistent results Create product demand through direct engagement with trades, builders and TAFE students, becoming a trusted resource in your territory Collaborate with the QLD specification and builders team to capture project opportunities flowing through your merchant network Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to your territory, giving you real ownership over how you grow the business Manage a structured call cycle across the Brisbane region, with some broader QLD travel as required Negotiate confidently with business owners, purchasing officers, trades and merchants to achieve strong commercial outcomes Launch, educate and train customers on new and existing product lines, driving adoption and maximising share of wallet Identify and convert opportunities to grow revenue within your existing customer base What you’ll need Proven experience selling to trade customers, ideally across major hardware stores, plumbing merchants and tradies Strong territory management skills and the ability to build and execute an account plan Confident negotiator with a natural ability to build rapport and long-term customer relationships A proactive, accountable mindset with the ability to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations Solid administration and CRM skills to keep your territory organised Ready to Apply?
