This is a 3‑month contract suited to an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working at pace, partnering with senior stakeholders, and owning their deliverables. The Opportunity Reporting to the Group Finance Manager , you will play a critical role across group reporting, statutory compliance, and corporate accounting processes . This is not a site‑based role — it is firmly corporate , working closely with executive leadership, auditors, and commercial stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Deliver end‑to‑end month‑end close across group operations Prepare and review: Accruals, journals, and cost reallocations Balance sheet reconciliations Actual vs budget variance analysis Support statutory reporting , including: ASX and ASIC financial reporting requirements Audit schedules and audit queries Prepare and review BAS/GST returns Provide analytical and commercial support to management Assist with project accounting , joint ventures, and capital development activities Prepare ABS surveys and ad‑hoc corporate reporting as required What We’re Looking For CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce 5 years’ experience in corporate or group accounting roles Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting experience Advanced Excel capability High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset Pronto ERP experience highly regarded Mining or resources experience beneficial but not essential Why This Contract?
