We are currently looking for a skilled full-time Cabinet Maker to join our growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on detailed custom projects. Responsibilities and Tasks: Studying drawings, work orders and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures Selecting and working with timber, veneers, laminates and other materials appropriate to project specifications Marking out, cutting, machining and shaping wood and other materials using woodworking machinery and hand/power tools Assembling and fastening components to construct cabinets, furniture and custom joinery items Fitting hinges, locks, drawers, shelves and other hardware to completed cabinetry Sanding, finishing and polishing surfaces to achieve required quality standards Repairing and refurbishing cabinets and joinery as required Installing custom-built cabinetry and joinery on-site, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fixing Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards in all workshop and installation activities Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Cabinet Maker. Strong attention to detail and precision Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and communication skills Commitment to workplace health and safety Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
