About the Role Located at our newly renovated office in Ingleburn, this position will see you tasked with the autonomously completing end-to-end payroll for multiple businesses within the NEPEAN portfolio. This position will be supported by a wider Payroll and Finance team, while still see you maintaining ownership of your remit. Key responsibilities: Process end to end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and efficiently without delay. Maintain payroll records, ensure timesheets are completed and act as first point of contact for resolving employee issues. This will include additional employee lifecycle tasks including processing compensation claims, preparing income statements, processing backpays, deductions and increases and calculating performance bonuses Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to assist in the implementation of Dayforce HRIS. Champion the technology and assist with the ongoing platform education and training efforts with operational teams and end users. Act as a true business partner, you will engage with your stakeholders to provide valuable legislative advice, Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) interpretation and best practice information. About you: You will be a technical and collaborative Payroll Officer who is able to operate in complexity across multiple business units. You will ensure the accurate delivery of all payroll functions and will play a part in the adoption of a new Payroll system and process as part of your remit. An experienced Payroll Officer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced payroll position. Ideally, you will have worked across portfolios within manufacturing, construction or industrial environments where attention to detail and the ability to meet strict timeframes is key. Possess proven experience working in a large-scale, end-to-end payroll function which will see you succeed in this busy and dynamic role. Have the ability to operate autonomously within your remit, acting as the subject matter expert for payroll within your business entities. While supported by the wider team, you will be able to influence, inform and implement process improvements and best practice. Your previous experience with Dayforce HRIS, PRONTO or similar systems would be highly advantageous.
