Handle employee payroll queries and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure accurate reporting. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports as required. Assist with year-end payroll processes, including tax declarations and reporting. Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Support the team with other payroll-related tasks as required. High volume payroll processing is essential Profile A successful Payroll Officer should have: Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within the Transport & Distribution industry. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach. Effective communication skills to engage with employees and stakeholders.
