How We Support New Graduates At NSS, new grads are not expected to know everything. You will receive: Weekly 1:1 clinical supervision with an experienced OT Joint visits and shadowing opportunities Structured onboarding program Gradual caseload build to support confidence and skill development Access to an experienced multidisciplinary team Ongoing mentoring as your skills grow What You’ll Be Doing Deliver therapy across homes, schools, community settings and clinic Work collaboratively with families to build capacity and achieve meaningful outcomes Develop and implement therapy plans with support and supervision Collaborate with Speech Pathologists, Intervention Teachers and Support Workers Complete documentation and reports in line with NDIS requirements Essential Requirements Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain) Passion for paediatrics and/or disability Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) About Northern Star Supports Northern Star Supports is a values-driven, family-focused provider delivering Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Developmental Teaching and Support Work across the Hunter region.
