Child & Adolescent Psychologist- FT or PT- Private practice Mind Body Medicine Group About the Role We are seeking an experienced Psychologist(s) (Child and Adolescent) to join this exciting wholistic mental health group practice in Camberwell. About the business The Mind Body Medicine Group (www.mbmg.com.au) is a well-established practice focused on providing excellence in wholistic mental health practice in paediatrics and child health. The practice currently has a strong focus utilising hypnotherapy and psychotherapy for a wide range of medical and psychological conditions. The Founder and Director, Dr Annette Webb (www.drannettewebb.com.au) is the Past President of the Australian Society of Hypnosis and has an ongoing steady stream of referrals and new clients from a large referral base from an extensive network of medical practitioners. We are looking for experienced Child & Adolecsent Psychologists to work in the expanding group practice in beautiful purpose-built rooms in the heart of Camberwell to complement the current practice and clincians and meet the demands of a large referral base. Position requirements: Psychologists who can provide a personal, passionate, and hardworking service for clients in and around the inner metropolitan and eastern suburbs of Melbourne, although the extensive referral base of the current practice services most areas of Melbourne and Victoria. Full registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority and a current annual practicing certificate with eligibility to provide Medicare services is mandatory. For Child and Adolescent Psychologists Experience working with children/adolescents and their parents’/educators and applying evidence-based treatment for a range of presenting concerns and it is preferable to have at least 5 years clinical experience. Be able to work autonomously and within a team. Provide face to face consultations and/or telehealth (not solely telehealth) Professional indemnity and liability insurance and own ABN. At least 2 years working in private practice preferable. Current police check and working with children check. A high level of professional ethics and commitment to continuing professional development.
