About The Role As the Youth Support Coordinator you will work closely with students, families, and staff to provide targeted support, remove barriers to learning, and foster a safe, inclusive, and connected school environment. Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To Build relationships with families of disengaged students to provide early intervention Follow up on student wellbeing referrals for all year levels in consultation with the Guidance Officers Monitor student attendance/truancy and provide early intervention through stakeholders Organise and facilitate lunch time activities Develop and deliver programs that support students social and emotional wellbeing across all year levels Facilitate student check-ins Provide in-class support Present at year level assemblies Refer students and families to external support agencies Be a visible presence during break times by interacting with students Be visible presence during break times by interacting with students Other duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed Skills And Experience The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
