About The Role The Manager, Housing Infrastructure is responsible for (but not limited to) the following: Lead a team responsible for the delivery and provision of advice relating to various leasing projects and programs and tenure resolution matters. Provide direction for tenancy management of DoE employees residing in accommodation owned by DoE other Government agencies and private owners. Provide services to the Division in the management and coordination of teacher housing infrastructure and associated information related to the management of residential tenancies throughout. The Manager, Housing Infrastructure reports to the Director, Housing Infrastructure, Regional Operations. Your Responsibilities What we're looking for in our Manager is someone who can: Lead a team in delivery, management and reporting of all revenue and expenditure leases for the Department. Manage the consultative processes to investigate, negotiate and provide advice to customers on viable accommodation options that provide flexible solutions. Contribute to the development of a strategic vision and direction, including identification of potential strategic opportunities for achieving cost and time savings in accordance with departmental strategies and targets. Manage the human, financial and physical resources allocated to support the service function and accountability for their effective use. Provide high level advice through the Director, Executive Director and Senior Executive Officers concerning all property leasing and employee tenancy related matters. Provide leadership, guidance and assistance to operational teams in the implementation of delivery of tenancy and leasing services. Lead continuous improvement, including the development of template documentation, business process improvement, business plans, procedures and operating agreements to promote best practice in service provision. Coordinate and prepare comprehensive briefings, reports and correspondence.
