About the role Chief of Staff is a strategic partner and execution leader, responsible for driving the company’s top priorities and ensuring alignment across all functions and regions. This role manages the executive cadence, prepares board and investor materials, and translates key decisions into clear organisational actions. Acting as a central point for cross-functional coordination, the Chief of Staff ensures that critical initiatives progress on time and that the CEO’s focus is optimised for maximum impact. The position combines strategic insight, operational rigor, and strong communication to enable the company to execute effectively at scale. Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Own and run the weekly executive cadence (Exec meeting, leadership sessions, critical focus project meetings), including agenda, pre-reads, and documented outcomes Produce board packs, CEO briefings, and investor-ready materials with clear narratives, metrics, and recommendations Implement and enforce a company-wide decision log with owners, deadlines, and status tracking Track top 10–15 strategic priorities weekly, reporting progress, blockers, and required decisions to the CEO Define and enforce internal communication channels (what goes to MS Teams, email, exec forums) to eliminate noise and duplication Translate every executive decision into a clear written update with “what changed, why, and what teams need to do” Run structured communication plans for major events (re-orgs, product launches, major deals) including timing, audience, and messaging Lead 2–3 priority cross-functional programs at any time (e.g regional expansion, major customer delivery) Identify execution risks weekly across product, delivery, and commercial pipeline, and drive mitigation actions with accountable owners Act as the single coordination point for resolving cross-team dependencies within 24–48 hours Ensure alignment across U.S., Europe, and APAC via a consistent reporting and meeting structure (weekly regional sync monthly global review) Standardise reporting across all functions (pipeline, delivery, product, financials) into a single CEO dashboard Work with department leads to maintain live dashboards covering revenue pipeline, delivery status, product milestones, and operational performance Manage CEO prioritisation by filtering inbound requests, structuring decisions, and ensuring only high-value items reach the CEO Qualifications, Experience and Skills 5–10 years’ experience in a high-performance environment (strategy, consulting, defence, technology, or scaling company) with exposure to executive-level decision making Proven experience operating in a senior leadership support role with direct responsibility for driving execution Demonstrated ability to run complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines Strong experience preparing board packs, executive briefings, and investor-grade materials with clear insights and recommendations Experience implementing operating rhythms (weekly exec cadence, reporting structures, KPI dashboards) in a scaling organisation Ability to build and maintain structured reporting systems (pipeline, delivery, product, financials) with high data integrity Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex decisions into clear, concise organisational updates High level of commercial awareness, with understanding of revenue pipelines, government procurement cycles, and defence markets Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones, with ability to align distributed teams High attention to detail with a bias for action and delivery under pressure Advanced proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration platforms (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Teams, CRM systems) Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or a related field Note for recruitment agencies: We do not accept unsolicited candidates from external recruiters unless specifically instructed.
