Position: Jewellery Designer Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $76,515 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Darlinghurst NSW 2010 Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Jewellery Designer join their team in Darlinghurst, New South Wales. Key Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop original jewellery pieces and collections in line with client requirements and brand direction Plan and oversee all creative processes within the business. Supervise and manage workflow of production staff (if any). Ensure quality control and maintain high standards. Develop new collections and innovative design concepts. Manage client communications and custom orders Lead strategic planning for business growth and brand development Manage custom design projects for garments and jewellery, client consultations, concept development, and final delivery. Research market trends, materials, and techniques to develop innovative and commercially viable jewellery designs. Maintain design records, documentation, and specifications for all collections and custom pieces. Provide guidance and support to junior design or production staff where required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent qualification) Minimum of 10 years of experience in fashion design, garment construction or jewellery creation. Essential Skills / Knowledge: Expertise in garment and jewellery design techniques Knowledge of fabrics, materials, and design tools Ability to lead and manage creative staff Knowledge of business operations and client management.
