Position: Chef Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Werribee VIC 3030 Our client, a well-established hospitality business, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join their team in Werribee, Victoria in preparation for the launch of a new café. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of café-style meals in line with recipes and quality standards Ensure consistent presentation and taste of all dishes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals efficiently Assist in menu planning, development, and seasonal updates Monitor food stock levels and place orders as required Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations Train and supervise kitchen staff when required Minimise food waste and manage portion control effectively. Requirements: Certificate III and IV In Commercial Cookery Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management At least two (2) of relevant experience as a Chef Proven experience in a café environment Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong teamwork and communication abilities Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
