Be part of a major renewable energy project Genus has been engaged to deliver critical high-voltage infrastructure works on the Parron Wind Farm project, including the development of a 330kV high-capacity Western Power Transmission Terminal Station. This greenfield renewable energy project requires strong electrical leadership, coordination, and a commitment to safety and quality in a high-voltage construction environment. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisors, of various levels, to support the delivery of electrical construction works, lead site crews and subcontractors, and ensure efficient execution across all phases of the project. Construction and installation of 330kV transmission infrastructure and terminal station assets. Installation, termination, and testing of high-voltage cabling systems Assembly and installation of primary and secondary electrical equipment within the terminal station. Integration works connecting wind farm generation to the Western Power network Coordination of commissioning and energisation activities The Electrical Supervisor will play a hands-on leadership role in managing site crews, supporting project delivery, and ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate electrical trades, contractors, and site personnel Execute electrical construction works across high-voltage transmission and substation environments Work closely with project engineers and construction teams to ensure alignment with project schedules Monitor daily progress and productivity, ensuring milestones are achieved Support planning and execution of commissioning and energisation activities Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards Identify and manage site risks, resolving issues to maintain workflow and efficiency Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience Electrical trade qualification with a current WA Electrical Licence Demonstrated experience working on high-voltage (132kV–330kV) transmission or substation projects DMIRS Section 26 Proven experience in a supervisory role within infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy projects Strong understanding of HV installation, testing, and commissioning practices Ability to lead and motivate site teams in a fast-paced construction environment Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements Current Driver’s Licence Construction Induction (White Card) Desirable Experience working on wind farm or renewable energy projects Previous exposure to Western Power standards and procedures Experience with commissioning and energisation of HV assets About Genus Genus delivers end-to-end innovative solutions across transmission, distribution, substations, communications, and renewable energy sectors across Australia.
