This role offers the opportunity to work closely with youngpeople from diverse backgrounds, supporting theirdevelopment, wellbeing, and social participation within a safeand inclusive environment. About the Role As a Youth Worker, you will play a key role in supporting andengaging young people through structured programs and day-to-day interactions. Your responsibilities will include: Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment foryoung people Supporting the delivery of group programs, activities, and drop-in sessions Planning and facilitating engaging programs that encourageparticipation and personal development Building positive relationships with young people and acting asa mentor and role model Providing individual support and guidance, including informalcase support where required Encouraging confidence, independence, and social connection Ensuring cultural awareness and respect, particularly whenworking with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people Working collaboratively with families, community groups, andother service providers Maintaining accurate records and supporting programoutcomes Essential Requirements Relevant qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, orwillingness to obtain Current National Police Check Working With Children Check (WWCC) Valid Driver’s Licence First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Full working rights in Australia
