The Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HSE Coordinator to join our team in Bayswater, WA. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain HSE systems, policies, and procedures in line with legislative requirements Coordinate site training and competency requirements Lead and conduct risk assessments and maintain the site risk register Deliver safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks and drive safe work practices, particularly for high-risk activities Support incident investigations, near misses, hazard reporting, and corrective actions Coordinate and support internal and external HSE audits Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001) Monitor and report on HSE performance and data Support Return to Work processes and injury management Manage H&S Committee activities and contractor safety compliance Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example Collaborate with production, leadership, and support teams Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site Required Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (As a minimum) 2-3 years’ experience in HSEQ within a manufacturing environment Sound understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements Strong knowledge of integrated management systems Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and return-to-work processes Excellent communication, people and presentation abilities Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Ability to influence, engage, and hold stakeholders accountable Self-motivated with a collaborative approach Proficient in Microsoft Office and general systems Why Join PROK?
