About the Role This is a senior position within a Building Services team, where you will take ownership of mechanical design delivery across a range of HVAC projects, while also playing a key role in mentoring and guiding junior engineers. The business is also committed to supporting the right candidate in obtaining their Registration as a Regulated Design Practitioner (RDP), providing both financial support and structured guidance through the process. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading mechanical design for HVAC and building services projects Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers Managing project delivery, timelines and stakeholder expectations Liaising with clients, consultants and internal teams Ensuring designs meet relevant codes, standards and regulatory requirements Supporting compliance with Design and Building Practitioners legislation About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC / Building Services within Australia Strong mechanical design capability across commercial or complex projects Exposure to regulated design environments or interest in obtaining RDP registration Ability to manage client relationships and deliver project outcomes Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor and influence others Experience within healthcare projects or medical gas design is advantageous Benefits Clear pathway into a senior leadership role RDP registration fully funded and supported Exposure to a diverse project portfolio including complex builds Supportive and collaborative team environment Long-term career stability within a well-established consultancy For a confidential discussion, contact Laila Hoy on lh@asr.com.au.
