About the Role This opportunity is suited to Talent Specialists who enjoy working within high-volume, process-driven environments, with a focus on award-level recruitment. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to support hiring needs, primarily managing candidate screening, interview coordination, and shortlisting activities, while contributing to broader end-to-end recruitment processes where required. Position: Talent Specialists x 3 – $450–$550/day super Location: Burwood (2 days onsite) or Newcastle Working Arrangement: Hybrid Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 30/06/2026 Application Window: Closes 27 March, 3pm Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume recruitment activities across award-based roles Screen applications, review resumes, and shortlist suitable candidates Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates Support end-to-end recruitment processes where required Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and workforce needs Draft and post job advertisements aligned with organisational standards Utilise multiple sourcing channels to attract diverse candidate pools Provide guidance to stakeholders on recruitment best practices and processes Ensure recruitment activities comply with policy, governance, and merit-based principles Maintain accurate candidate records within HR/CRM systems Monitor recruitment progress and provide reporting updates as needed Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience About You Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR support roles within large or complex organisations Strong experience in high-volume or transactional recruitment environments Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, or CRM systems Ability to manage multiple roles and competing priorities effectively Strong attention to detail, particularly in resume screening and compliance processes Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Understanding of merit-based recruitment principles and public sector processes (highly regarded) Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (desirable) Valid working rights in Australia are required.
