Synergie has partnered with a leading steel profile cutting and processing company based in Smithfield, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Storperson/ Forklift Operator to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically fit, and has experience working in a manufacturing or steel environment. About the Role You will play a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations, ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receiving, checking, and dispatching steel products Loading and unloading trucks Operating forklift and overhead crane (if licensed) Picking and preparing customer orders Stock control and inventory management Handling steel plates, sections, and fabricated components Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment Following all WHS policies and procedures Essential Requirements Previous experience in a steel manufacturing or steel processing environment Current Forklift Licence (essential) Experience handling steel products and heavy materials Strong understanding of warehouse operations Physically fit and capable of manual handling Reliable with strong work ethic Commitment to workplace safety What We Offer Immediate start available Stable, ongoing employment Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Supportive team environment If you have experience working in a steel environment and are looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you.
